I want a new law passed!

Last week we all went to the dentist for our checkups. Four of us and no cavities! Life is good, right? Well, the dental hygienist tells E that she has a loose tooth. What the heck? Why in the world would she tell her that? It was
B A R E L Y loose. It is going to be a long haul until that baby falls out. I think there should be a law against telling a five year old that she has a loose tooth unless it is hanging by a string. Now E has her fingers in her mouth all the time and I have to feel how "loose" her tooth is about five times a day! Again, it barely moves. Uuuggggghhhh! I will let you know when it finally falls out - it may be some time next year though! :-D

Voulez-vous chicken cordon bleu?

When the girls and I were feeling all better, we decided to have a cooking class. Since they wanted to help with dinner, I thought I would teach them how to make chicken cordon bleu. Even though they thought if felt gross to touch the raw chicken and then roll it in the egg, they were more than happy to get their hands right in the mess. Both E and K were happy to wear their brand new aprons for our cooking class! Dinner was really good! I think we may have some future chefs on our hands!

And here is my oldest baby!

Not to be left out, here is E! She received a beautiful pair of Snow White high heel shoes from Santa on Christmas so she had to run up stairs and put on her Snow White dress immediately! This picture is of her on Christmas day. She did not take those shoes off - or the dress - until she went to bed. Since then, E has proudly worn her lovely shoes out to craft time at AC Moore and shopping at Sam's. I am hoping the novelty wears off SOON!
